La Basse Cour: B&B near Alencon, Normandy
Sarthe Bed & Breakfast
Red Bedroom: double bed with shower en-suite
Red RoomCream Room ↔ Blue Room
The Red Room faces south east towards the Sarthe, overlooking the courtyard with its impressive 18th century barn, while the front garden with flowering shrubs, trees and working well are to its right and the slate garden and arboretum to its left.
The room has a double bed (140cm), en-suite bathroom with extra-wide shower, and separate toilet across the landing.
The Red Room is separated from the other two bedrooms by the guest sitting room and is somewhat larger if space is a priority.
Free Wi-Fi Internet access is provided in your bedroom. TV and free refreshments are provided in the library/sitting room.
Like all of the rooms, it has exposed beams and double glazing, with acoustic insulation for walls and floor.
The bathroom is equipped with a heated towel rail and the bedroom has central heating.
Hairdryer, radio alarm clock, toiletries and towels are provided.
The view from this room looks south past the barn towards the woods and countryside below the village, with the garden to the left and right.
We have safe off-street parking and the barn provides secure covered parking for motorbikes (please ask in advance).
Because we have no "family" rooms and the pond is unfenced, we can not take children under 10 years of age.
