40km from Le Mans and 8km from Alençon and the A28, La Basse Cour B&B has three guest rooms situated on the first (upper) floor, immaculately clean, comfortably furnished, tastefully and individually decorated, with private bathrooms and Wi-Fi Internet access in all rooms.

All rooms feature exposed beams and views over the countryside or gardens. In your room you'll find an information pack including local restaurant advice, suggestions for days out and useful information on shops, petrol, laundry services etc.

Two bedrooms have en suite shower rooms with large built-in shower, washbasin and WC; the Blue Room is a twin, the Cream Room a double.

The larger Red Room is a double with en suite shower room (the shower is over bathtub, not suitable for those with mobility issues), washbasin and separate WC. The Red Room can be equipped with a folding bed for one night for an older child (aged 8-15) sharing with parents. We do not have large family rooms.

Guest Sitting Room

You are invited to take advantage of the guest sitting room and library with its well-stocked racks of brochures, maps and guide books to plan excursions or to brew up a cup of tea or coffee. We have extensive personal knowledge of places to visit, both well-known and off the beaten track, and are happy to advise on places to visit if you're stuck for choice.

A copious continental breakfast is included in the price of your room and is served each morning of your stay on the ground floor. Breakfast includes home made jams, yogurts and dairy products, fresh fruit, fruit juice, tea, coffee, fresh croissants, bread and pastries from the village bakery.

All rooms are no-smoking   and pets are not allowed
